Is mold dangerous?
Identifying Molds correctly is critical to anyone susceptible to the health issues associated with molds, as well as for the general health of all people exposed.
There is NO SUCH THING AS TOXIC MOLD. This term was created by the media (TV & Print). Don’t be misled by those who spread fear by promoting Toxic Mold. It’s simply not true!
While numerous molds do not pose a health risk or hazard, some molds produce mycotoxins that can cause very serious illness. Pregnant women, infants, elderly, recent transplant patients, radiation and chemotherapy patients and immune-compromised people are all at high risk.
